Hitch

1. All hitches can be made to be adjustable in height and direction both left and right, and forward or back.

2. The hitch must be mounted to the chassis in such a way as to allow no movement either vertically or horizontally after the hitch height has been adjusted.  If the tech table finds any movement in your hitch you will be disqualified from the round.

3. The hitch must have a horizontal or vertical draw bar that has 1 or more 5/16” holes for attachment of the sled chain.  The hole for the chain must be behind the center point of the rear drive axle.  Horizontal hitches will be measured from the track surface to the top of the draw bar.

Batteries

All batteries used to power the drive wheels will be NiCAD or NiMH rechargeable size C or smaller cells. Voltage must not exceed 1.2 volts per cell. There is no limit on the MAH (mili amp hours).


Electric Motors – Small

1. Any 540 or 550 can electric motor not having cobalt or neodyn magnets that is available on a national market, and has a manufacturers suggested retail of $115.00 or less.

2. Graupner 500 and 700 series, or equivalent motors from other manufacturers.

3. Astro Flight Pullmaster 1, or equivalent motors from other manufacturers.
