Body and Appearance

1. The body must be a car, truck or tractor and must be scale in appearance.  All vehicles must have a name.

2. Body’s can be factory production, stock or modified units, or they can be scratch built.  Plastic, wood, metal or cardboard or other suitable materials can be used.  The body should be scaled so as to fit the wheel base of the class, unless a specific scale is named in the class rules.

3. Truck and car front wheel openings must be in the stock location.  The front tires must be centered in that opening.  Exceptions will be made for roadster/coupe hot rod type vehicles that have no front fenders, tractors and all 4WD vehicles.

4. Rear wheel opening can be moved back, and can be made larger to accommodate the rear tire size.  Factory body can be modified or stretched to resemble a full scale puller; however, the modification to the body should be made with a high level of craftsmanship.  (We want to maintain quality vehicles.)

5. All full fendered vehicles must retain the original grill, headlights, and tail lights.  Front bumpers may be removed or replaced with a rolled pan.  All bodies must retain the tailgate or rear panel and rear bumper.  The rear tires of the vehicle can not pass through the tailgate or rear panel.  Bumpers and tailgates may be cut to allow sled chain clearance and weight bar clearance.

6. All roadster/couple hot rod type vehicles with open front ends and all tractors will be limited to a 9” front tire track.  This will be measured from outside to outside of the front tires.  The rear tires on these vehicles must be partially or completely covered by a fender and or flare.

7. The body must cover all batteries and any weights that are not scale in appearance.

8. Weights that are scale appearing can be suspended outside the body shell.  The weight bar that suspends weights in front of any vehicle will be limited to 9” in width.  Rear weight bars can not stick out past the width of the rear tires.
