TECHNICAL INSPECTION
1. All vehicles must pass technical inspection, to be conducted immediately prior to each pull. If a vehicle does not pass inspection it will be disqualified from that round of pulling.
2. It will be up to the truck owner to prove the legality of any motor if questioned by the tech table.
3. If a Track Official, Tech Official or the Event Director has reason to believe a vehicle is suspect of a rules violation, that vehicle can be inspected on demand by any Tech Official. Anyone refusing such an inspection will have that vehicle removed from any further competition; no refunds of entry fees will be made.
4. A competitor may request an inspection of a vehicle competing in his class by asking the Head Track Official and posting a $50.00 cash protest fee. The competitor making the request must have a legitimate reason for the protest. The owner of the suspect vehicle must submit that vehicle to the Protest Committee for a complete tech inspection. This inspection could require a complete teardown of the suspect vehicle. This teardown must be done by the vehicle owner in the presence of the Protest Committee. If the vehicle is found to be legal, the owner of the vehicle will receive the $50.00 cash protest fee. If the vehicle is found to be illegal, that vehicle will be disqualified from the remained of the event. No refund of entry fees will be made. The $50.00 cash protest fee will be returned to the person making the protest.
